Opinion on Government?
It's not perfect, there is corruption like in any other organization or power structure, but I still think the evils of the government are lesser than the evils of corporations. At least the government isn't founded overtly on a principle of doing anything possible to make the most money possible. It's not in a competition that leads to having scruples necessarily being a disadvantage. It's more based on a principle that you're paid a fixed amount regardless of what you do so the only motivation left is to do good by the people. I know that's not how it works in practice, politicians are bought, in corporations you're bought in that regard overtly, primarily and by default. In government it's a side-effect and a form of corruption. People who want to give corporations free reign and get rid of as many regulations as possible and limit the government as much as possible are giving power to the wrong people.
